Our Nursery Curriculum
Young children enter our nursery with a wealth of experience to draw on. They have already learnt a great deal about the world they live in. We build on children's past experiences supporting and extending their learning in a happy, secure and stimulating caring environment. We offer an appropriate early years curriculum that takes into account every child's individual needs. The SENCO Co-ordinator ensures children with Special Educational needs and are fully able to access the Nursery curriculum by developing an individual learning programme of work which meets all their needs.

Our curriculum is based on children's learning through planned purposeful play, first hand experiences and talk. This allows children to be active participants (both physically and mentally) in their learning. The curriculum ensures that 'Child initiated, adult directed' learning takes place. The curriculum includes 6 'Areas of Learning as set out in the DfEE Document Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage.
