Parents as First Teachers.

Parents as first teachers is a universal programme for parents with children usually under the age of three years.  The project workers offer support to parents and children through personal visits and group support meetings. These group meetings are designed to help share experiences, gain new insights and discuss topics of mutual interests.

The project workers work with parents helping them to recognise learning opportunities in their children's lives they offer parents practical information and guidance.
