Learning Outside the Classroom
A major part of our enquiry-based learning approach is providing our children with the possibility of exploring learning anywhere – not just within the Nursery building. We make every use of our local environment and our connections within it to broaden our children's knowledge and experience as much as possible.

The children fell so in love with the ducklings, that they wanted to keep them. However, they had to work out what we might need, where they might live and whether we could afford them.

The girls at Wycombe Abbey invited us to their school to join in a music and dance workshop.
We loved listening to the instruments and pretending to be animals from Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals.
We have been very lucky that some very friendly builders have been working on a site at the top of our car park.
They donated real hard hats and high viz jackets for our own construction site and even invited us to visit theirs!
