Attendance

Regular daily attendance has the best impact on children’s learning outcomes. We always have the children’s best interests at heart when looking at attendance patterns.

We offer daily sessions, part-time and full-time as part of the core nursery day. It is important that the children attend these to benefit from a full nursery experience.

Please inform us if your child is unable to attend nursery. Reasons for absence may include:

• If your child is unwell (sickness policy)
• If you child has an appointment
• If you have a special day out planned
• If you have a family emergency
• If you are going to be late

If your child becomes unwell at nursery we will only ask you to collect him/her if we feel it is really necessary for the child’s wellbeing.

The session times are calculated carefully and it is really important that you collect your children on time.

Every day at Nursery is vital for your child’s learning development.

Every day missed means your child is missing out on vital learning opportunities.

If your child is absent then please let us know why.

If we do not hear from you we will phone you on the same day to ensure the safety of your child.
